Plain White T's est un groupe de rock américain (Chicago).
J'ai découvert leur musique cet été en allant un mois aux USA, là bas, ils sont très connus, ca fait maintenant 10 ans que le groupe est formé, et avec leur quatre CDs, il est tant que leur musique soit enfin connue !!!

Les Plain White T's viennent de Chicago (Illinois) aux USA.


Composition:
★De'Mar Hamilton (batterie)
★Tom Higgenson (chant)
★Mike Retondo (basse et chant)
★Tim Lopez (guitare, chant)
★Dave Tirio (guitare)


Biographie:
Le chanteur et leader Tom Higgenson était, à la base, fasciné par la batterie. Il jouait dans divers groupes de pop et de rock au lycée, dont l'un d'eux qui était "Harvey's Daughter", là où il fut la connaissance du bassiste Ken Fletcher.

Le groupe s'est séparé mais un autre a été re-créer, avec Tom comme leader, song-writter et chanteur. Dave Tirio rejoind le groupe en 1997, ainsi que les autres membres, amis de Tom, et PWT's est officiellement fondé. Ils jouaient dans des clubs variés de Chicago, gagnant très peu d'argent mais le dévouement suivait.

En été 1999, Tom a failli laisser sa vie dans un accident de voiture. La catastrophe lui value un rein brisé et un poumon lacéré. Depuis ce jour, il a une toute nouvelle vision de la vie et l'aime à sa juste valeur.
Resultats, il écrit beaucoup plus de chansons et le groupe commence à se faire connaître de mieux en mieux...A ce jour, le groupe est composé de Tom Higgenson au chant, Dave Tirio à la guitare, Mike Retondo à la basse (Choeurs), De'Mar Hamilton à la batterie,Tim Lopez à la guitare (Choeurs) et a sorti 4 Cd's studio.
